Slice Arabic letters & ink
Calligraphy meets Fruit Ninja. Swipe to slice drifting Arabic letters on warm paper cards, chain combos, dodge ink bombs. Offline, no ads, no accounts.
Alaif is a fast, tactile letter-slicing arcade game inspired by Thuluth-style Arabic calligraphy. Letters drift up across warm, deckle-edged paper cards - swipe your finger to slice them with a satisfying ink-blade cut. Chain three or more letters in a single stroke for a gold combo, and watch out for ink bombs.
This is an arcade game, not a learning app - the letters are here for their shape and rhythm, not as a lesson.
No. Alaif runs entirely on your device - no accounts, no sign-in, no ads, no in-app purchases, and no network connection of any kind.
Locally, on your phone only. Deleting the app deletes your high score; it is not synced or backed up anywhere else.
Open Settings from the main menu or the pause screen. Sound effects, music, and haptics can each be toggled independently.
You start with 3 lives. Letting a letter fall unsliced costs a life, and so does slicing an ink bomb. The run ends when all three are gone.
Email the address below with your device model, iOS version, and a short description of what happened. Screenshots or screen recordings help a lot.
Alaif collects no data. There are no analytics, no trackers, no advertising identifiers, and no network calls. Everything - including your best score and your settings - lives only on your device.
